Adult Casting Center reminds everyone that it’s important to know who you’re dealing with.

Ensure that the individual(s), studios, or agencies are not asking you to pay for anything up front (or pay for anything ever), especially if they’re encouraging you to travel on your dime. There are a few obvious signs that should be signals that you’ll need to do more investigating into the legitimacy of an individual or organization. Do they have a working phone number that is accessible without having to push them to give it to you? Do they have a web presence? Can they point to any of their work as examples? How long have they been in business? What kinds of work do they do — is it only one type of shoot or many types of shoots / productions? How many people are involved — a single individual, or a staff?

See the alert below – and please beware of the scams that are out there.

The Free Speech Coalition this evening reported that a group of con artists fraudulently claiming to represent Penthouse and other adult publications have been preying on women in at least four states, including Florida, California, New York and Arizona.

Be safe.
